The York Ebor Festival is one of the finest sporting and social events of the summer – featuring world-class horse racing action across four days on the iconic York Racecourse.

The feature race on day one of the York Ebor Festival is the Juddmonte International – ranked as the best horse race in Britain by the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities in 2015. This outstanding race has been won by some of the greats of the sport including the invincible Frankel in 2012.

The second day of the York Ebor Festival is one of the biggest events of the horse racing season, York Ebor Ladies Day. This unrivalled day is synonymous with style, elegance, and world-class sport. York Ebor Ladies Day features some of the very best fashion at any racecourse in Britain. The fashion off the track is matched by the top-class horse racing on the track where the Group One Yorkshire Oaks takes centre stage.

Day 3 of at the Festival offers one of the fastest and most exciting races of the season – The Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes. This five-furlong race is a key part of the British Champions Series and often decides who is the best sprinter in the country.

The final day of the York Ebor Festival features one of the biggest races in Europe – The Ebor Handicap. The race has been a permanent fixture on the Knavesmire since the 1840s and it continues to hold the title as Europe’s richest flat handicap race.
