Wentworth Club in Surrey will once again be the venue for the BMW PGA Golf Championships. This iconic venue offers a world class setting where you and your guests will be able to enjoy the best views in golf, as players seek to finish their round in style on the West Course’s infamously testing final hole.
The BMW PGA Championship, is an annual men’s professional golf tournament on the European Tour. It was founded in 1955 by the Professional Golfers’ Association and as such was originally called the British PGA Championship. Since then it has had several sponsored names, but the phrase “PGA Championship” has usually been included in the name.
The BMW PGA Championship is played each year over the West Course at the Wentworth Club in Surrey, England. The PGA European Tour has its headquarters at the club and as the tour’s home tournament, the BMW PGA Championship is often regarded as the flagship event on the European Tour.
In September 2019 The Rolex Series was back where it all began as Wentworth Golf Club hosted the BMW PGA Championship. Alex Noren claimed a stunning victory in 2017 at the inaugural Rolex Series event and Danny Willett joined him as a two-time winner of the European Tour’s blue riband events as he held off the challenge of Jon Rahm down the stretch on Sunday. Since the event moved from being played in May to September, Bumper crowds flocked to Wentworth to enjoy a festival of golf
