Now we are through the dreary month of January and with February already rushing by, we can begin to look forward to what events are in store for the spring and summer months of 2022. With a bit of luck, this will be the year when all events fully go ahead as planned with no disruption from Covid-19, and people can go back to experiencing some of the fantastic sporting and music events that the UK has to offer.

March

Six Nations Rugby

With this years Six Nations Championship coming to its conclusion this month, who will come out on top? Will it be England’s year?

The Cheltenham Festival

The Cheltenham Festival epitomises and encompasses everything that is great about jump racing, whilst delivering an unbelievable occasion as the finest horses, jockeys, owners, and trainers battle it out for the highest racing honours. This event is famed for having an electric atmosphere that will make your hairs stand on end with the world famous ‘Cheltenham roar’ echoing throughout the racecourse with each new race.

April

The Grand National

Aintree Racecourse is known to millions worldwide as the home of the Randox Health Grand National – The World’s Greatest Steeplechase. In early April each year, the world and its media descend upon Aintree Racecourse for three of the biggest days in the British sporting and social calendar.

British Superbikes – Silverstone

British Superbikes is famed for its close, dramatic racing. Riders battle wheel to wheel at speeds of up to 200mph and frequently lose control as they push to the limit.

Chester May Festival

Chester Racecourse is one of the most beautiful and recognisable courses in the UK and is home to one of the biggest meetings of the flat racing calendar, The May Festival.

FA Cup Final – Wembley Stadium

The FA Cup Final, commonly referred to in England as just the Cup Final, is the last match in the Football Association Challenge Cup. It has regularly been one of the most attended domestic football events in the world.

Monaco Grand Prix

The Monaco Grand Prix is the one race of the year that every driver dreams of winning. Like the Indy 500 or Le Mans, it stands alone, almost distinct from the sport from which it was born.

The Cazoo Derby Festival

The vibrant atmosphere, roaring laughter and thundering hooves of top-quality racing are what make the Epsom Derby Festival an unmistakably British event and The Greatest Summer Celebration. This year’s Derby Festival is set to be a landmark event, and one of the best attended in many years, following the announcement that the event will form part of the official Platinum Jubilee Weekend to celebrate the historic 70-year reign of Her Majesty The Queen.

Royal Ascot

Royal Ascot is a sporting event like no other. Combining style, elegance and first class racing, it truly is the pinnacle of the racing and social calendar.

Attracting over 80,000 visitors, with the Queen in attendance all week, Royal Ascot provides an unforgettable and luxurious experience for all guests which is sure to last in the memory.

Ed Sheeran – Wembley Stadium

Ed Sheeran has announced his ‘+ - = ÷ x Tour’ (pronounced ‘The Mathematics Tour’), taking place in stadiums throughout 2022. Kicking off in April, the tour will see Ed play shows across the UK, Ireland, Central Europe and Scandinavia, and will see him return to London’s Wembley Stadium for a selection of nights in June/July.

The Championships, Wimbledon

The Wimbledon Tennis Championships is the most exclusive and well known of all the grand slam tennis events. Steeped in history, heart wrenching moments and action, the Championships are synoptic with a true, quintessential British Summer and, of course, the World famous Strawberries and Cream.

The British Grand Prix

With the festival atmosphere and three action-packed days of breath-taking racing, there really is no other event that comes close to the FORMULA 1™ British Grand Prix.

England v South Africa – ODI – Emirates Old Trafford

England will face South Africa at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground for their second ODI in 2022. This is sure to be a thrilling fixture as these two giants go head-to-head. VIP's at this famous cricket venue will enjoy a full day of corporate hospitality and action-packed cricket.

Ebor Festival

World class racing meets high society for the Ebor Festival, the jewel in the crown of York Racecourse. The course, known as the Knavesmire, has been a favourite amongst racegoers since it was founded in 1731.
